Dr. Amir Lamei is proud to serve the community he grew up in. A lifelong East Cobb native, he attended Mount Bethel Elementary, Dickerson Middle School, and Walton High School before leaving for college and dental school. After years of advanced training, he returned to practice in the neighborhood where he was raised, and he now lives in Roswell with his family.

Education and Training
Dr. Lamei earned both his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and his orthodontic specialty degree from the Medical College of Georgia (MCG). During dental school, he distinguished himself as one of only eight students in his class inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, the most prestigious honor society in dentistry.
He was also inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Upsilon Phi honor societies and served as president of the American Student Dental Association.
After completing his orthodontic residency, Dr. Lamei achieved board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics. Board certification is a voluntary distinction that requires rigorous written and clinical examinations, and fewer than 30 percent of orthodontists nationwide earn this recognition. Dr. Lamei remains committed to continuing education and maintaining the highest standards of orthodontic care for every patient.

Together with Dr. Harold Enoch, Dr. Lamei treats patients of all ages in a collaborative two-doctor orthodontic practice. This partnership allows patients to benefit from expanded availability, collaborative treatment planning, and the experience of a highly trained orthodontic team.
Dr. Lamei has extensive experience treating a wide range of orthodontic needs. His services include traditional braces, clear aligner therapy, early orthodontic treatment for children, orthodontic care for teenagers and adults, and treatment for bite and jaw alignment concerns. He uses advanced digital orthodontic technology, including 3D scanning and digital treatment planning, to deliver precise and efficient results.
Beyond the Office
Outside of the practice, Dr. Lamei enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their three children, Kian, Niko, and Layla. He is also an avid martial artist and holds a fourth-degree black belt in both Shotokan Karate and Taekwondo.
The discipline, focus, and respect required in martial arts mirror Dr. Lamei’s approach to patient care. Whether guiding a martial arts student through training or helping a patient through orthodontic treatment, he brings patience, precision, and encouragement to every interaction.
